Welcome. Thank you for taking the opportunity and time to visit my site. You can learn a little about me and my "scaffolding" concept behind Scaffolding & Spoons at the links given or in my blog's "about" section. Before you dive too far in, I want to provide a little guidance. This space is here for me to practice openness and vulnerability and share information, stories, art, and other forms of life as my recovery progresses. I have several medical conditions, so particularly when they flare, I cannot guarantee that what I share will be like clockwork, nor will everything be perfect; it isn't meant to be. Anti- perfectionism, the antithesis of perfectionism, is something I am practicing while in this space. I began this practice in my visual art to leverage myself out of crippling levels of perfectionism inherent in the classical music world which was my life for quite a long time and which you can read about eventually at this site.

I go back and forth about allowing comments or even likes on this site as improving and maintaining my health in all its forms, including mental health, must be paramount to me now. My health must take precedence. I will start by leaving them open as I explore this space, but I will shut them down if I feel the need.

Please note that as I am sharing my "journey," my practice, my concepts, and my tools, these are all things I have been thinking about and building for decades; however, I am not a licensed health professional, nor am I aiming to be. I am simply sharing my process and my way of conceptualizing recovery. I hope you find inspiration here; however, please check with your physician before making any changes. You and your doctor know your health best, whereas I am a stranger on the internet—a friendly stranger, but a stranger nonetheless.

Disclaimer out of the way, welcome! Please feel free to subscribe for blog posts, announcements, and updates. And thank you for being here. It means a lot.
